If I'm your forgotten past
Let me remain so.
We need not exchange
Our bundle of sorrow
Or memories of yeaterdays.
Not the void of your absence
That I live with and
Nor the pain that my actions
Elicited in your heart
Needs to be aknowledge.
We have parted away
For reasons known & unknown.
All I do now is pray
For time to heal us both
And live a life of our own.
