മൗനം വെടിഞ്ഞു ആകാശം
മേഘദൂതയച്ചു,
മഴനൂലിൽ കെട്ടിയിറക്കി
അനുരാഗത്തിൻ കളി വാക്കുകൾ ആയിരം
ഭൂമിക്കൊരു കുളിരലയായി
മഴമണി തുള്ളികൾ ഓരോന്നും.
കാർ മുകിലാലെ ഇരുട്ടു വീഴുംമ്പോളും
കിലുങ്ങി വീണു വെള്ളി മുത്തുകളെങ്ങും.
കൊള്ളിയാൻ കൊണ്ടൊരു കമ്പക്കെട്ടും
പുതുമണ്ണു മണക്കുന്ന ധരണിയും.
കൊള്ളാം, പ്രകൃതിയുടെ പ്രണയം
കാലം കൊള്ളാത്ത കലിയുഗത്തിലും.
